About Kayla
Hi! I have more than 10 years of experience as a tutor with the English Language Learning program at Halifax Public Libraries. I also have a Certificate in University Teaching and Learning. I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and Course Instructor at Dalhousie University and McGill University in science subjects. I especially enjoy helping people who are new to English improve their skills. I was born and grew up in Canada, and English is my first language. I also enjoy learning other languages myself — I speak French at an intermediate level and also know some Spanish.
