About Kehinde

Hello, My name is Kehinde! I’m a passionate performing artist, acoustic singer-songwriter, and experienced guitar and vocal coach. With years of live performance, songwriting, and studio experience, I bring real-world music knowledge into every lesson I teach. Music has always been at the heart of my life. I’ve performed on stages large and small, written original music, collaborated with other artists, and guided students of all ages through their own musical journeys. Whether you're learning your first chords or writing your first song, I’ll meet you where you are and help you grow with patience, encouragement, and professional insight. As a tutor, I’m dedicated to creating a supportive, creative space where you can develop confidence, master your instrument, and find your unique voice. My lessons are structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to your needs — but they’re also enjoyable and inspiring. I want you to leave every session feeling better than when you started. I take pride in being punctual, prepared, and fully committed to each student’s progress. Music is personal, and I treat each lesson with the care and attention it deserves. Whether you're preparing for a performance or simply learning for the love of it, I’m here to help you succeed. Let’s make music together — and enjoy every step of the journey.

About the lesson

About My Teaching Method & Techniques
As a performing artist and songwriter, my approach is hands-on, creative, and student-centered. I combine practical music techniques with expressive artistry, helping students not only learn but feel the music. I teach through real songs, rhythm-based exercises, ear training, and songwriting prompts — all tailored to your pace and musical taste.

Whether you're picking up the acoustic guitar for the first time or refining your vocal expression, I focus on:

Developing solid foundational technique (chords, fingerpicking, strumming)

Understanding rhythm and timing

Improving vocal tone, breath control, and confidence

Learning how to perform and interpret songs

Writing your own original music, even if you’ve never tried before

A Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is built around your goals and style. A typical 1-hour lesson may include:

Warm-up (vocal/guitar technique)

Song study – learning new chords, riffs, or vocal parts

️ Creative section – writing a verse or chorus (if desired)

Performance practice – building stage confidence

Recap and personalised practice plan

What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor

I'm not just a teacher — I’m a working artist. I bring real-life performance and songwriting experience into each session.

I create a relaxed, encouraging environment where you're free to explore and grow.

Lessons are tailored — whether you're 10 or 60, a total beginner or an intermediate musician.

I also help students prepare for live shows, open mics, recordings, or just playing confidently at home.

I teach both voice and guitar together, helping you accompany yourself naturally.

Who My Lessons Are For
My lessons are ideal for:

Beginners to intermediate players of all ages

Acoustic lovers who want to strum, fingerpick, and sing

Songwriters in the making

Students preparing for music performances or auditions

Adults rediscovering their love for music

Teens looking to express themselves creatively

Why Learn With Me?
Because I’ll help you:

Discover your unique musical voice

Build confidence in both singing and playing

Write songs that mean something to you

Learn in a way that’s structured but never boring

Make music a joyful and expressive part of your life

Let’s unlock your musical potential — one song at a time!

Kehinde is a wonderful person and a great teacher. I have been having lessons with him for months, before I had no idea of English but now I am more comfortable with the language and I can communicate.

Thanks to him I learned to get rid of the embarrassment of speaking English in public.
