About Grace
Hello! My name is Grace and I have been working with various art mediums for over 12 years. I attended a high school for the arts where I focused in 2D art, my main expertise being in drawing (particularly figure drawing) and acrylic acrylic paint. In college I began to focus more on my photography and videography skills, but painting and drawing are still an important hobby to me. Can’t wait to help you create!

Everyone learns differently, and everyone has different goals. I like to get to know the person I am teaching to understand the way their thought process works and what they would like to achieve and then best fit my teaching style to those factors. I like to give people room to explore what methods work well for them and am a firm believer in the critique sandwich (tell the student what they have done well, tell them what needs improvement/how to improve, mention one more thing that was done well). Especially with something as fluid and personal as art, it is most important to me that people feel encourage and are proud of what they are making. This can be done by recognizing their improvement rather than comparing themselves to others.
