About Jonathan
I am an active Canadian music producer and recording artist with international touring experience. I've been DJing for over 10 years, with a formal education in music production and business through Point Blank College and Middlesex University in London, UK. I'm very excited to share this information with everyone who is willing to learn. My goal to make these technical and creative skills more accessible to a broader population in Saskatoon, and to help our local music culture flourish in the process.

Before we start, I'd like to hear more about where you're at (eg. Absolute beginner, seasoned musician); as well as your long and short term goals (eg. Make music for fun, make music professionally). Once we're on the same page and you're happy with the game plan to reach your desired result, then we can start instruction, and change course later on if needed.
You'll get video lessons, email instruction, or webcam tutorials. After each lesson, I'll ask you to complete an assignment that is due on a date we've both agreed on. After I have received your work, I'll need time to review it (about 2-3 days), and create a new video for you to download. This new video is yours to keep for future reference and study, and contains feedback that is unique to your work.
Keep in mind, you might only need one or two lessons to reach your goals. If you have no previous experience or education and need a mentor to get you started, I'd love to be your guide! If you're an active artist needing advice on a project that is important to you, I'd love to help sharpen your ear, stay on track and on schedule. And if you're somewhere in between, I'd love to hear from you too. If cost is a concern, please remember that it's free to talk to me! And there's no pressure to commit after we've discussed your goals.
