Get the hands on, no holds barred insight into music production and engineering. I have a real mad scientist approach to Audio I wish to share. We can begin with basic DAW and setup through to advanced recording and mixing techniques. I have developed many of my own techniques and approaches throughout the years and am happy to share the tips and tricks of the trade.
My teaching method would be very student focused. What we focus on and what I teach them will be largely the result of what type of music they want to make and what areas they are less strong in. Each lesson will consist of me running through techniques and production methodology they should know or would benefit from and then us trying out the techniques on their own project.
I have had a passion for playing and recording music from a young age. I eagerly will impart my technical and creative knowledge to you in engineering, mixing and mastering. I will help you break thru the sometimes daunting barrier of learning software and technicalities to pull creativity and technical aspects together into tight arrangements and interesting music productions.
I can begin by teaching you the basics of music production (i.e. what is a compressor, eq and limiter?) to how to work with the software Ableton Live or other DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation) to how to write complete harmonic music from your heart. It's up to you where the lessons go, you tell me what you don't understand and I will teach you.
I base my teaching on a practical approach, tailoring what the student is interested in and showing them the functionalities of what they are looking to achieve. This enables a reward process in-line with student goals to further stimulates their interest, letting their passion burn, and enabling them to make content and music from their intrinsic motivation.
My teaching method will vary depending on if the classes are one-on-one or group based. Obviously one-on-one would be more detail orientated. Class structure would be to first train your ears to recognize the frequency spectrum and what instruments are coming through at what frequencies. Then we shall move onto recording techniques before learning editing and mixing.
My lessons will be tailored to suit your needs following an assessment of your current understanding and knowledge of the subject, there is no generic lesson structure because every learner is different and will ultimately benefit most from a customised approach
My teaching Method is inquiry-based learning. I can teach you whatever you would like to know and help nurture you towards your music production, Djing, Mixing or recording career. I have contacts in the industry including booking agents, label owners, promoters and festival organizers. So once your music is at a professional standard, I can help get you work in your chosen field.
I base my classes on understanding all the technicalities of audio recording and music recording so you can spend more time working on the creative aspects. There is so much to learn about audio engineering and grasping intricate concepts can take a lot of work. However, all the work is worth it in the end when you finally hear where the hard work has gone.
I believe in doing practical exercises after learning about the theory and history as to get a full understanding of the origins of audio production.
My methodology is Back to Basics What happens first Where does THAT note come from Everyone can make music What does this instrument do How to learn about frequencies Different genres of music I want my sing to sound like that Basic studio setups Recording instruments Recording programs Mixing and Mastering
My teaching method is a hands-on approach. If you need to learn something specific or from beginner to advanced. I'm your man. My philosophy for teaching provides the best learning environment for individual learning types.
Teach them how to use Fl studio, work through the basics, how to orchestrate melodies and create automation teach them beat structure, layering and synchronizing vocals with the beat and melody and mixing so it don't sound scrambled eggs Student will need a computer (preferably Windows) and Fl studio it is free
The whole process starts with you filling in my Google Keep questionnaire for me to understand your level, needs and goals. We will work online in real-time, with me screen-sharing the Ableton Live project via Team Viewer and capturing everything that's happening on video with both my, and the student's voice included (allows to re-watch the lessons as many times as needed).
I am a kind of teacher who want their kids to learn science in a very practical and creative ways. My teaching mathodolgy contains many creative ways such as showing models and explaining them in a very good way.
I’m a person who first is going to listen the students to verify their level of knowledge with the topic and then teach them exactly what they need to learn!
My teaching method is based both on the analog and the digital world.. and a lot of practical projects on midi and audio production..
I like to keep things quite relaxed and quite fun in the classroom. There will be lots of warm ups and games that everyone will enjoy. My lesson structure generally consists of 50% theory and 50% practical exercises. They all contribute to the student's skills and understanding of different aspects of music.
I have four different levels that I teach and they are as per below: Beginners - Here I teach the basics of Beat making and setting your Hook Intermediate - Here I teach mixing tracks individually Proficient - Here I teach the high end level of layering for texture Advanced - Here I teach the nuances in tuning percussion and rhythmic shuffles that enhance a beat
I specialise in Ableton Live 10, but also i have experience with FL Studio and Pro Tools. I won't preach that my skills are 'correct' but by efficiently showing you how i do what i do then you can take what you've seen and implement it in your own way. I won't produce for you, but i will help you do so.
I will show you a number of ways to approach making music, minimising any potential walls you've perhaps hit in your past, whilst making it fun and more importantly getting a result at the end of it.
i base my classes on teaching what is in current interest in the musical world. i like to prepare the students to the real world, giving them the tools and knowledge to act as professionals as artists, producers or engineers in the market.
My teacher methodology would be to throw yourself into something and do your own research, learn and gain as much knowledge as possible and start experimenting with the idea's. I also believe in a mix of face to face and online education.
My teaching methods are to allow both individuality and creativity to flow freely from every student. I base most of my teachings on current trends in the music industry such as software, technology, and current/past audio production principles. As the field of audio is very broad, a brief understanding of basic sound theory, physics, audio history, and music production function will be covered.
I focus on fundamentals and on following a project to it's most advantageous conclusion.
My teaching method is designed to provide my students with the competency and confidence to use Pro Tools as an instrument for music composition, audio engineering, mixing, producing, editing and mastering music.
I teach every student individually by Singing and making them to understand the notations given in English language. The Notes are provided a few days before the class so as to help them to understand on hand during teaching session through Skype. Students are expected to perform the learnt lessons thoroughly and display their skill in the next or fothcoming classes.
This will be based on the individual themselves. I want to demonstrate good working practices when making beats and teach recording techniques for student to experiment with. The first lesson will consist of understanding students prior knowledge and get a feel of what they want to achieve with music.
Based on the experience and needs of each student. Some students wish to cover the basics and simply ensure they can record themselves playing guitar and singing, others wish to mix their album to a studio-quality level, including post production and mastering. My aim is to teach students anywhere along this spectrum.
I base lessons and mentorship based on individual circumstance, which varies depending on the person's audio setup, genre preference and overall style of project.
