About Michael
I am a postdoctoral researcher with a decade of teaching experience in university environments.
I am able to teach any number of students. I am open to one-on-one tutoring, but believe a class size of about 5 students is ideal. I have experience teaching all undergraduate physics courses from labs through recitation to senior-level lectures.

I believe a strong theoretical foundation is imperative in order to be a good physics student. However, I always follow up on the theory with example calculations. I tackle problems by breaking them down into smaller more manageable parts. While adding in values is needed in most lower-division physics classes I strongly believe in performing symbolic math up to the final formula.
