About George
Recent Actuarial Maths graduate achieving a 2:1. Since graduating, I have been fortunate enough to find an amazing job with one of the largest Insurance firms in both the United States and the United Kingdom which has allowed me to experience what I have learned at university as well as expanding in my learning as I go through the Actuary Institute exams to help me expand my knowledge and my career.
I have been teaching younger family members in both the UK and abroad for a few years now. I have helped all age ranges from secondary school all the way to GCSE.

During my time in education, I have had many lessons with different tutors from 3 different countries and have experienced all different types of teaching methods and from that I was able to see the different ways each of the tutors preferred to teach with. From that I was able to learn and see what way I enjoyed learning best and has helped me achieve the highest grade.
The approach that I realised work best with students is a mix of a blended style which allows me to tailor my style to the student needs and appropriate level as well as being a facilitator as I know students have a lot of questions and that is something I highly encourage as the more questions asked the easier the concept of the problem becomes for each individual student.
