About Himasha
I have studied Actuarial Science at the Cass Business School, which was using Maths, Probability and Statistics to understand long term risks that face society.
I'm currently working in Banking in Risk Analysis, using Maths to understand how to manage risks faced by Financial Institutions.
We see applications of Maths all around us, and it's a beautiful language to learn if done correctly.
I scored A*/A's in my AL's for Further Maths, Maths, Physics and Economics.
I can help you understand the subject not just the facts and equations to get the results that YOU want!

I believe that every student should understand the basics first and build from there.
Teaching is about helping you understand the concepts, rather than just throwing facts and equations at you!
When working with someone new, I normally set out a clear road map together to figure out what you want to achieve and what steps we have to take together to get there.
I have been tutoring Maths for close to 7 years now, and believe in working closely with the students and parents to understand how we can optimise our time together.
Also I'll recommending other ways to learn outside of our tutorial time. I'll share online resources and tools to learn maths not just from a book, but through videos and interactive platforms.
