About Kelsy
Across many years of experience, I always felt like I could see my students as the person they were and would be, with only a timeline, and some direction in between. *I've always really enjoyed language, metaphor, books, ideas, creative ways of showing ideas, logic, and so much more. *Now I continue to enjoy guiding an inquisitive mind, giving that person permission to take opportunities and be able to express them and to show their evidence, whether it be in literature, maps & navigation, math, science, or other areas.

for L.A., reading, writing, and publishing cannot be kept separate for long, but i can help students who have missing foundational pieces in their literacy reserves. which we can then A make a lot of growth in reading levels, comprehension, retelling, and or demonstrating other aspects of written works. Students that need to overcome / learn strategies for reading with dyslexia and/or have a history of attention struggles, will also make great strategies!
