About Katherine
"To be honest, I sometimes worry that students overthink the basics before they even touch the hard parts of the syllabus. I emphasize a strong grasp of fundamentals because that is where the most common errors occur, especially during high stakes assessments. My lessons utilize my degree from UNSW to bridge the gap between simple homework help and advanced competition preparation. You will learn to navigate linear algebra and complex word problems by breaking them down into logical, bite sized pieces.
Although I have taught for 15 years, I still find that the most effective technique is to simply slow down and simplify the process. I enjoy seeing students eventually stop guessing and start calculating with certainty. I promise to keep the pressure low while we work through the toughest parts of your curriculum together."

"The smell of dry erase markers on a whiteboard defines my 15 years of teaching practice. Having worked with 331 students, I understand that the gap between a good grade and a great one often lies in how a student handles pressure during examination periods. My focus remains on teens and those preparing for board exams who need more than just a surface level understanding of arithmetic and competition math.
