About Mar
Hello! I’m Mar, and I’m a neurodivergent senior high school student, poet, writer, and artist. I’ve taught students from pre-k to eleventh grade in reading, literacy, essay writing, creative writing, poetry, proofreading, academic language, and resume preparation for about three years. I’m happy to work with all skill levels and brains!

Our lessons will be fully virtual and last between 30 and 90 minutes based on your preference/need. The first session will be a 30 minute intake to understand you as a person as well as your academic needs so I can develop a personalized lesson plan. If you plan to just work on homework together, that’s cool too! I’m also comfortable being your body double instead of a tutor if that’s what you need. I want our time to be fully student-centered, so let me know what you need.
