About Annie

Clarity makes the process of mastering difficult music feel attainable. I begin every student engagement with a diagnostic assessment to create a unique practice plan for your development. We integrate ABRSM or Trinity exam prep alongside essential music theory and scales.

Given my 12 years of experience and BMus background, I provide a calm environment for building technical proficiency. You will find that addressing these specific skill sets builds a deeper connection to the music. The methodical approach ensures progress stays visible and consistent over time. It is rewarding to watch students gain confidence in their performance abilities.

About the lesson

Teaching violin feels natural because I appreciate the structure of complex compositions. My own path started at age 6 and moved through rigorous conservatory training. I hold a BMus from Humber College and completed RCM Grade 10 requirements.

These credentials allow me to work effectively with kids, teens, and advanced learners. Helping others master sight reading, shifting positions, and left hand agility remains my core focus. I find joy in refining the details of tone production and classical repertoire through steady practice.
