About Brenda
I was an undergraduate student in Physics, where I learned pedagogical techniques that I applied during my period as a teacher, in addition to assisting me in other functions that I exercised throughout my career. I am currently undergoing a career transition to the UX Design area, because I identify with the research process that involves creating a new solution, but also because I enjoy working dynamically, through practical projects and connection with diverse stakeholders, which has a little more to do with my personality on a daily basis. As a teacher and as a designer, I like to stimulate interactions, bring up relevant information and discuss them openly, always taking into account the exchange between the teacher and the student as enriching for both parties.

I follow the learning model suggested by Paulo Freire, where I try to help the student to assimilate the contents correlating with situations that are part of his daily life. Therefore, I seek to know the students background, as a way of being able to approach through mental models the simplest ways of bringing up a certain topic, until it can take a more complex format. Learning assessment is done in both stages, simple and complex, to ensure that all topics are covered and to identify possible flaws and improvements throughout the teaching and learning journey.
