My experience teaching others has mostly been with other classmates which gives me an advantage when it comes to simplifying a concept in a understandable manner. I've always been that smart person in the classroom so people have always naturally asked me for help, and have learned the material because of it :)

When I try and help someone understand something, I have them tell me what they don't understand, and then I have them do the problem. I watch closely to figure out the mistake and help them spot it and then correct it. If the problem comes from not understanding what to do I will take a few seconds or a few minutes to try and come up with the best way to convey the concepts and tasks in a relatable and simple way.
