About Genevieve
Last year I graduated with a First Class Honours degree in American and Canadian Studies at the University of Birmingham. This comprised modern and classical literature, history and cultural studies.
I am confident teaching everything from very specific, niche literatures such as Canadian Indigenous poems all the way to 11+ exam preparation and general KS3/4/5 English and History.
I also have a great deal of experience working in children's education and wellbeing services.

I believe teaching should be interactive, personal and allow equal involvement from both teacher and student. I love that tutoring, either individually or in small groups allows this; opening up space for discussions, debates, and questions that might not exist in traditional classroom or lecture based learning.
