About Ashley
I am a math major at Mount Holyoke College and I have a passion for mathematics. I have been tutoring since 2016, and when I worked at Kumon Learning Center, I was able to work with children from the age of three years old. Then, when I went to college, I was able to be a Teacher's Assistant and grader from sophomore year until senior year. I have experience teaching a variety of math subjects, not limited to pre-calculus, calculus 1, and linear algebra.

My teaching approach is seeing what topic the student is working on, then looking at the problems that they have. I then try to see where exactly they are stuck on the problem, and try to work with them throughout each problem. I do not give my answers to directly to them because that is not how they will learn efficiently. It will be a "math journey" with each problem they do not understand.
