My teaching method is purely based on the individual student. I would initially like to know the student's confidence, areas of concern, and pace at which they would feel comfortable going and base my material and workload on their response. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to ensure that my students learn in a way that best suits them and hopefully, begin to enjoy maths.
Over the past 9 months, I have worked with tutoring/coaching places and private tuition, I am extremely experienced in teaching both one-on-one or group lessons. I have taught all levels of primary school (from year 1) as well as year 8,9,11 and 12 math (both advanced and foundational math). I love tutoring as not only am I passionate about maths but also love to see my students thrive, improve and gain confidence in themselves. Through my extensive experience, I have amassed material for all levels of math and will be comfortable with teaching at any stage of a student's knowledge and confidence.
I graduated in 2020 (covid year) and received an atar of 97.40. I received an academic honour prize from my school (top 10%) which ranked 16th in the NSW. My study scores were: 90 (English advanced), 91 (economics), 93 (Math advanced), Chemistry (89) and Visual arts (95).
