My lessons always emphasize not just how to compute, but how mathematical meaning is constructed through representations and reasoning. A recurring theme in my teaching is helping students move between: 1. Informal intuition (graphs, visual reasoning), 2. Symbolic manipulation (formulas and procedures), 3. Formal mathematical reasoning (definitions, proofs, and justification).
