About Kristina
Looking to build a strong portfolio for university applications? Or maybe you just want to improve your drawing skills without the pressure? Either way, I’ve got you covered.
I’m a professional artist with years of experience helping students develop their skills, gain confidence, and reach their creative goals.
Some of the schools I’ve been accepted into are Emily Carr, OCAD and the University of Alberta.
My teaching style is structured but flexible. I provide clear instruction, constructive feedback, and just the right amount of challenge to keep you progressing without stress.
If you’re preparing for art school, I can guide you through portfolio development, composition, technical skills, and personal style so your work stands out.
Drawing is a skill anyone can learn, and with the right approach, you’ll be surprised at how fast you improve. It isn’t about being “naturally talented.” It’s a skill, and like any skill, it can be improved.
With the right guidance (and some patience), you’ll be surprised at how quickly you progress.
My goal is to help you build strong fundamentals, develop your own artistic style, and help introduce you to academic learning styles.

Stop Staring at That Blank Sketchbook—Let’s Get to Work
I offer private drawing lessons tailored to your skill level—whether you’re a total beginner, stuck in a creative rut, or prepping a killer portfolio for art school, I teach methods taught by the Masters.
With a degree in Art & Design and a minor in Sociology from the University of Alberta, I don’t just teach technique, I understand the basics and will help you master the required drawing skills for academic drawing.
My teaching style? Structured but adaptable, supportive but challenging. I’ll push you just enough to get results—because real progress happens outside your comfort zone. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to start, here it is.
