About Hannah
I am currently a 3rd Year Architecture student. I received an:

I was the founder of a peer mentorship group at school where sixth form students tutored Yr11 students who were about to sit their GCSEs. On top of that I have also been tutoring privately for 4 years. As a student myself I feel that peer mentorship works extremely well as we are both of similar age and I would be able to advise them on exam techniques and how to prepare as I have been through the process myself not so long ago:)

I approach each topic by assessing the student’s weakest areas and focusing initially on that. Firstly, I would go through a topic in detail, highlighting the key areas of focus and summarising it in a way that’s clear, concise and easy to understand. Mind maps, diagrams and lists would be constructed after assessing how the students works and retains information the best. Analogies will also be made so they can understand concepts in a way that is familiar to them. Then I would revisit the topic and give them a series of questions to answer in response to what they have learned. This will solidify their knowledge and highlight anything they don’t understand or want to recap
