About Sachiko

I enjoy cooking, painting, traveling, reading, and yoga.

I also like learning facts about Japanese. Learning about a language is an eternal process, so although Japanese is my mother tongue, there is always something new to learn. For example, sometimes I look up the history of a word or phrase, read about recent changes in Japanese grammar, or study dialects, which are very different from area to area! I have even attending teaching seminars and have taken classes for translation and interpretation to impove my teaching abilities.

About the lesson

Every lesson is customized according to the student's individual needs, and for every hour of tutoring, I typically spend time preparing student-specific materials. My classes are always interactive and students are at all skills levels, including beginners and advanced. Lesson is via face to face & online (Zoom, FaceTime, Skype etc.) During the class, you can talk about whatever you want! My classes always have a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere ;)
