About Lindsey
I am currently employed as a professor at Seneca Polytechnic in their Fundamentals of Art and Design program. I am also currently teaching four classes a term at the Toronto School of Art. I have over 10 years of teaching experience with a variety of institutions.
My approach is rooted in skill-based, progressive learning, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, structure, and long-term development. Each week I will provide direct draw-overs of your most recent work, and walk you through some different drawing exercises you can practice between sessions for continued improvement.
My teaching covers figure drawing (gesture, form, anatomy), perspective (1–5 point systems and environment construction), observational drawing, character design, environment design, prop design, composition, and storyboarding.
