About Sophie
I’ve always been passionate about science and chemistry—not just as a subject, but as a way of understanding the world around us. I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the subject’s real-world applications, from medicine to environmental science, over the years of studying it. Teaching science is more than just sharing knowledge; it’s about inspiring curiosity and confidence in students. I know firsthand that chemistry can be daunting, but I also know how rewarding it is when things start to click. That’s why I love tutoring—I get to help students navigate challenges, build problem-solving skills, and discover their own strengths. I believe that with the right approach, anyone can excel in chemistry. My goal is to make learning engaging, personalised, and effective, so students not only improve their grades but also develop a genuine understanding of the subject.
