About Ella
Hi, I’m Ella, a Certified Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI, AGI) based in San Diego, CA. Aviation has been a passion of mine since childhood, inspired by my father, who served as an aircrewman in the Navy. That passion has driven me to not only pursue a career in aviation but also to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring pilots. I currently teach at a flight school in San Diego, where I help students navigate the exciting and challenging world of aviation. My goal as an instructor is to make learning engaging, build confidence, and push students to be as knowledgeable and prepared as possible. Out of all the check rides I’ve taken, I’ve passed every single one on the first attempt—and I strive to give my students the tools and mindset to do the same. Aviation is more than just flying; it’s about discipline, precision, and continuous learning. Whether you’re starting from zero flight time, working toward your next rating, or preparing for a check ride, I’m here to help you master the material, gain real confidence, and succeed.
