I am a PhD student in astrophysics and I have 6 years of experience in tutoring students in maths and physics from all levels up to and including university level. I have over 7 years experience with Python, especially its use in scientific/engineering applications.

Using my years of experience in astrophysics to teach Python programming to new learners. I use a project based approach where we choose a project the student would like to work on and through creating the project the student can learn all the basics and skills necessary to finish the project. The main goal is to have the skills to move on to the next project!
