About Eli
I have a BS in astrophysics from the University of Cincinnati. I have been tutoring math for several years now. I have also helped underclassmen with their physics homework (though this wasn't paid). I love working one-on-one or with a small group!

I tutor physics and math at the grade school level. I help with homework mostly but I can bring my own problems. During the lesson, we start with whatever homework the student has. I make sure they understand the basic concept first before digging into the topic deeper. I use a 'the student becomes the teacher' technique. This means that we don't move on from a topic until the student can 'teach' me how to do a problem. I have found this gives the best results for both comprehension of the problem and the ability to retain the information for a longer time.
