About Rayna
Over the last 3 years, I helped start a tutoring club at my school and tutored over 10 kids in various subjects ranging from science to SAT prep. As a tutor, one of my main goals is to inspire the students to eventually train themselves to be confident in their learning abilities and gauge what they need to improve on and be self-sufficient and successful in their educational careers.

I work one-on-one completing homework and no additional work from me. I assist in taking notes and making cheat sheets for students as well. Each lesson will be catered to specific topics or lessons being taught in school with an emphasis on test-taking skills and practicing for exams. Math lessons are done via whiteboard practice and drills as well as additional AP-style questions is the class prompts it. The same goes for science class which has an emphasis on diagram format learning and conceptual understanding. For English sections, my methods include recommending books to improve vocabulary as well as self-annotation to improve sentence style, syntax, and passage reading with distinction in interpretation text and broader analysis learning, As a debater, I am also qualified in teaching argumentative style writing and rhetorical analysis that is generally done through practice essays and passage reading.

Rayna was the most wonderful tutor I have had in a while for my daughter.
