About Sarah
I’ve been a lawyer for over a decade, but like teaching others. I almost decided to be a professor of history, English, or law. I just started my own law firm, so no more steady paycheck (in case you’re wondering why I suddenly decided to be a tutor/advisor).
Reading & writing especially, and academics generally, are like breathing to me - almost effortless but also things I don’t think I could live without. I read so much growing up that writing became second nature. But there are a lot of other things that were not natural to me at all. My parents were the first generation of their families to get college degrees, and the scope of my ambition never occurred to them. I didn’t have anyone to tell me what to do or how. I’m not sure anyone even knew.
I just decided what I wanted & achieved it through work & what seemed like sheer willpower. I wish I would have had someone with experience to discuss it with.

I can help with anything reading/writing/literature/history/social sciences for classes, tests, etc.. Also if you are interested in going to law school, can discuss pros/cons, what it is really like being a lawyer, provide info on recommended classes in undergrad, etc. Also willing to have “lessons” with parents to discuss similar advice.
I’m also a creative writer I my spare time.
