About Tanaya
Hi! I'm Tanaya, an Interior Designer with 6+ years of professional experience in residential and corporate interior design.
I have a background in Computer-Aided Interior Design and have used AutoCAD extensively for layouts, drafting, detailing and design documentation throughout my professional experience.
I've worked on projects ranging from residential interiors to large corporate workplaces, so my approach to AutoCAD goes beyond simply knowing the software. I understand how drawings are actually used in the interior-design process.
I enjoy breaking down complicated things into simple, understandable steps. My teaching style is practical, patient and focused on helping you understand why you're doing something, rather than just memorizing commands.
Whether you're a student trying to get comfortable with AutoCAD, a complete beginner, or someone struggling with a particular drawing, I'll tailor the lessons to your level and goals.

My AutoCAD lessons are designed specifically for interior design and architecture students, beginners, and anyone who wants to learn practical 2D drafting.
You don't need any previous AutoCAD experience. We can start from the basics and gradually build your confidence through hands-on drawings and interior-design examples.
Depending on your goals, lessons can cover:
AutoCAD basics and essential commands
Setting up and organising a drawing
Layers, blocks, dimensions, text and annotations
Creating floor plans and furniture layouts
Interior elevations and sections
Basic detailing and drafting techniques
Understanding architectural drawings
Drawing organisation and professional drafting practices

Working through college assignments or projects
I prefer a practical, learn-by-doing approach. Instead of simply explaining commands, I'll show you how and when they are used while we create actual drawings together.
If you're already learning AutoCAD but feel stuck, you can also bring your current assignment, project or drawing, and we can focus the lesson around what you need help with.
