About Aathmaja
I believe teaching is the most rewarding career. There is a famous quote from educational leader Malala Yousafzai that states, 'One child, One teacher, One pen, and One book can change the world'. As a future teacher and a dedicated tutor, it is the joy I see in my students when they grasp a concept. This motivates me to pursue this field. I understand that I can help shape my students' futures and leave a lasting impact on their lives. I want to help them see the world differently and inspire them to reach their true potential. I feel teaching to be an act of kindness and hope to stay kind, optimistic and supportive throughout my life.

As a tutor, I am committed to sharing wisdom and kindness with my students. I believe strongly that learning is a lifelong process. I strive to provide an environment where my students feel safe, supported, and inspired to learn and grow. I am confident that I can provide you with a warm, nurturing and supportive educational environment. This is where you can comfortably ask questions, improve your confidence and gain motivation to reach your goals.
In my role as a Junior Programme Executive, I taught science to students (7-12 years old) through creative problem-solving methods. As a result, I enhanced my subject knowledge, developed a deeper interest in science, and gained more confidence to face teaching challenges comfortably. As a current childcare support worker, I have developed the communication skills and patience necessary to deal with young learners. I believe this will enhance my values.
In order to make the sessions more interesting, I start with some mind-focused improvement games, meditation or even ice-breaking fun as the first activity of my tutoring session. I feel this enables every child in the class to stay more concentrated during the entire lesson. I also noticed an increased interest in student learning curves from my own teaching experience.
Rome was not built in a day, and similarly, all these improvements didn't happen in one day. It involved constant self-analysis, dedication and patience and I believe that with these values and a strong willpower to excel, no goal is impossible to achieve. I would be more than happy to support you throughout this learning journey.
Thank you for your time.
I look forward to seeing you in class next time!
