About Nini

I’m Nini Pharsenadze, a Georgian filmmaker and editor based between New York and Batumi. A recent Brown graduate in Film and Architecture, I wrote and directed August, now in post and heading into festivals, after raising thousands to bring it to life. My earlier short Dinner in Evening won Best Student Film at the Cannes World Film Festival, and since then I’ve worked across experimental films, music videos, and campaigns, editing in both DaVinci Resolve and Premiere. Whether directing, cutting, or teaching, I focus on intention, making work that feels real, personal, and alive.

About the lesson

Whether you’re starting fresh or need another set of eyes, I can help you shape your project—from learning DaVinci or Premiere, to refining scripts and edits, to making content that actually tells a story. My teaching is collaborative and practical: we’ll focus on what you want to create, build your skills around it, and keep the process honest, creative, and fun. You don’t need to be “professional” to begin, just curious and ready to make something that feels yours.

Perfect! I had the pleasure of working with Nini to improve my video editing skills in Premiere Pro, and I can't recommend her enough! She helped me master the technical aspects of the software and thanks to her guidance, I was able to edit and polish my videos for Instagram Reels with a professional touch. If you're looking for someone who’s knowledgeable, supportive, and truly invested in your success, Nini is the one to go to.
