About Leon
I'm an award-winning professional screen and stage actor with 15 years' experience, represented by Sainou.
My television credits include Disclaimer and Slow Horses (Apple TV+), Stay Close and The End of the F***ing World (Netflix), Vera (ITV), Britannia (Sky Atlantic), Into the Badlands (AMC), Snatch and Doctors. My film work includes Infinite for Paramount Pictures, directed by Antoine Fuqua, and Odyssey. I've also performed at the National Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre.
I'm represented by Be Heard Voices for voiceover work, and I bring current, first-hand experience of professional auditions, self-tapes, casting rooms and sets into every lesson. I coach actors who are actively working in the industry, alongside people taking their first steps into acting.
Whether you're preparing for drama school, a LAMDA exam, a professional audition or your first self-tape, I'll help you prepare work that's confident, connected and individual.

I offer individual coaching for drama school entry, LAMDA examinations, self-tapes, auditions and general acting technique. Each session is built around your goals, experience and timeframe, whether you need focused preparation for an imminent audition or want to develop your craft over time.
My approach combines imagination with disciplined practical work. We'll examine the text closely, discover what drives the character, and explore different ways into the scene. As Uta Hagen put it: "Don't show me your point of view, have one." That sense of ownership is central to my teaching: finding choices that are personal, playable and fully yours, while staying flexible enough to respond to direction in the room or on camera.
Sessions can include:
- Drama school audition preparation and monologue selection
- LAMDA exam preparation
- Self-tape and audition coaching
- Scene study, text analysis and character development
- Screen acting technique
- Building confidence, presence and natural performance instincts
I work with beginners, developing actors and working professionals, giving clear, constructive feedback in a relaxed environment and practical techniques you can return to independently.
Lessons are usually an hour and can be booked for a specific audition or exam, or as part of longer-term coaching.

Your first lesson is free, so we can talk through what you're working towards and make sure we're the right fit before you commit to anything. If you know you'll want ongoing coaching, a package is the best value and locks in a lower hourly rate. If you're working towards a single deadline, such as an audition, a LAMDA exam or a drama school interview, booking a focused run of hourly lessons in the lead-up usually works best. I'm happy to advise on which route suits your timeline, so don't hesitate to ask before booking.
