I like to dive deep into the fundamental nature of the concepts that my students are exploring. Really learning how things work, why the work, and how they relate to other topics or concepts. I approach learning and teaching from the foundation up, making sure that there are no gaps or weak points as things get more and more advanced. I subscribe to Albert Einstein's teaching philosophy: "If you can't explain it simply, you don't understand it well enough."
