About Matias

I enjoy helping people learn guitar in a relaxed and supportive environment. My lessons are best suited for beginner and intermediate players who want to build confidence, learn their favorite songs, and improve their skills step by step.

I focus on making lessons fun and practical, covering things like chords, strumming, rhythm, basic music theory, and song learning. I like to adapt lessons to each student’s goals and musical interests so learning stays enjoyable and motivating.

Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or already know some basics and want to improve, I’m happy to help you progress and enjoy the journey of learning guitar.

About the lesson

Hi! I'm a passionate guitar player with over 10 years of playing experience. I also studied music for one year at Ara Institute of Canterbury in Christchurch, where I developed my understanding of music theory and performance.

I offer guitar lessons for beginner and intermediate players who want to improve their skills, learn songs they love, and build confidence playing the guitar.

My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student. I can help you with:

Basic guitar techniques

Chords and strumming patterns

Learning songs

Rhythm and timing

Beginner music theory

Building practice habits

Whether you’re just starting out or already know some basics, I’m happy to help you progress and enjoy learning guitar.

Lessons can be adapted to your goals and musical interests.
