About Gil

I’ve been playing guitar for over 50 years and have spent much of my life performing live in bands and as a solo artist.

I’m not a “theory-first” teacher; I focus on helping you actually play. Chords, rhythm, timing, and getting comfortable with the instrument come first.

I’ve worked with all kinds of musicians over the years, and I understand what beginners struggle with because I’ve seen it again and again.

My approach is simple: take the confusion out of it and get you making real progress, step by step.

If you’re looking for a relaxed, practical way to learn guitar without feeling overwhelmed, you’ll be in good hands.

About the lesson

I offer simple, beginner-friendly guitar lessons focused on real playing, not confusion.

If you’ve never played before, or if you’ve tried and gotten stuck, I’ll help you get moving quickly with chords, rhythm, and songs you actually enjoy.

My teaching style is relaxed and practical. We go step by step at your pace, with no pressure and no complicated theory unless you want it.

I’ve been playing for over 50 years, performing live in different styles including blues, rock, and country. I bring that real-world experience into every lesson.

Lessons are one-on-one and tailored to you. Whether you want to play for fun, improve your skills, or finally understand what you’re doing on the guitar, I can help.

First lesson is offered at a reduced introductory rate.
