About Michael
I am passionate about science and have over 5 years of laboratory experience, including three years professionally in an endocrinology lab. I have a Master's in Biotechnology from Rutgers university and have coached and taught many students during my time in the lab. I currently have one publication and can assist with scientific writing, scientific basics, and advanced coursework.
I have an undergraduate degree in biological sciences from the Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and a graduate degree in biotechnology from the Rutger's School of Graduate studies. I have three years of experience in a genetics lab studying alcoholism and addiction and three additional years of experience working in an endocrinology lab studying the molecular mechanisms of thyroid hormone receptors where I went from a research technician to a research assistant and published an academic paper on the differences of the three main thyroid hormone receptor subtypes.

I believe that for effective learning to occur students need to set goals. After getting to know a student I will work with them to set small learning goals and as they are accomplished we will introduce more goals along the way.
