About Shruti
I'm currently a UC Berkeley student majoring in Cognitive Science and Analytics in Economics. My course load has allowed me to develop strong skills in various subjects, especially math, economics, and biology. In high school, I volunteered in many experiences involving me working with younger students. Most prominently, I had tutored middle schoolers and high schoolers for three years in both math and French. From experience, I've developed some of the best study methods to turn any subject into something my tutees are confident they can tackle.

As a teacher, I strive to be patient and relatable. I help students learn about different ways of thinking and don't simply give them the answers. I am close in age to my tutees, making it easier for them to be comfortable with me and open up to me. I can teach math up to Calculus. For the sciences, I teach biology and psychology. I can also teach up to AP Economics and AP Statistics.
