About Camilo
My name is Camilo Barrios and I'm from Colombia, I started playing the Tenor Saxophone when I was around 10 years old. Later I studied Jazz performance in Colombia, then I studied Hindustani Classical Music in New Delhi, India. After two years of this I spent three years studying Film Scoring and conducting at Berklee College of Music. Throughout all this, I've been performing, recording and collaborating on a variety of projects ranging from studio work to live performances.

Each lesson would be catered to the student's level and what they aim to achieve through each session. I like to make a plan and set short and long-term goals that will be the foundation for progress.
I teach Music theory lessons that could be either harmony or ear training oriented, I offer help to students preparing for music school auditions.
Each class is started talking about what would be expected that lesson, then I'll use drawing boards and music writing software to help explain subjects and sometimes I may play the piano or use YouTube for even more examples. At the end of each lesson there will be goals and expectations for the next lesson.
