About Cody
I am a dedicated Trumpet tutor with 14+ years of teaching experience, helping High School students, College students, and adults achieve their learning goals. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students with different learning styles and abilities. Every student has helped me grow as a teacher, and I continue to improve my teaching methods to provide the best learning experience possible.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, encouragement, and personalized learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are clear, practical, and enjoyable. I explain every topic in simple English and use easy examples to make learning comfortable and effective. I encourage students to ask questions, practice regularly, and build confidence one step at a time.
My lessons are carefully structured with clear objectives, guided activities, independent practice, and regular feedback. I focus on building strong basic skills before introducing advanced concepts. This approach helps students make steady progress while enjoying the learning process.
Teaching around 300 students has been one of the greatest achievements of my career. Many learners have improved their skills, reached their goals, and developed greater confidence through consistent effort and personalized guidance.
I believe a positive classroom creates successful learners. My goal is to provide a friendly, supportive, and motivating environment where students enjoy learning Trumpet while developing confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for education.

My teaching methodology is built around helping students enjoy learning the trumpet while developing strong musical foundations. I personalize every lesson to match the student's experience, interests, and goals. My classes are friendly, interactive, and designed to encourage continuous improvement.
Motivation plays an important role in every lesson. I encourage students to stay positive, practice regularly, and recognize every improvement they make. Confidence grows when students see their own progress.
Communication creates better learning experiences. I explain lessons in simple English, use clear demonstrations, and encourage students to ask questions and participate actively throughout each class.
Integrity is one of my most important teaching values. I provide honest guidance, respectful support, and constructive feedback that helps students improve with confidence and discipline.
Creativity keeps learning enjoyable. I include breathing exercises, tone-building activities, rhythm training, improvisation, musical expression, listening practice, and performance exercises to help students become complete musicians.
Besides trumpet, I also teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm development, ensemble playing, music appreciation, beginner arranging, and performance preparation. My goal is to help every student become a skilled, confident, and lifelong musician.
