About Amalia
English is the most widely spoken language and therefore it is important to know it. Beyond its usefulness at school, English opens doors to meet people from all over the world, read foreign literature, study and, in the future, work outside of Spain.
I started learning English at school, like everyone else. I went to the British Council and kept learning but it was when I changed schools to one more focused on languages and when I started to really practice daily, making friends with foreigners, when I finally saw a difference and a much more speedy progress until I passed the Cambridge CAE at 15 years old. As of now, I continue to learn because languages evolve and one is never finished learning a language.
Although it seems difficult at first, if you put in a little time every day, learning a language is not that complicated. It is very important not to get frustrated and to maintain contact with the language, even if it is on social media or by watching the news from England or the USA.

English classes and conversation meetings are given to students studying Primary or ESO and to adults with a basic level of English.
Classes will be online, using the platform preferred by the student (Zoom, Google Meet).
At the beginning there will be a free trial class to see the student's level and their goals: expand vocabulary, improve written and oral expression, take Cambridge exams such as the First, etc.
After that first meeting, I will prepare the classes focused on the needs of the student and we will adapt them based on progress.
Homework: They are a part of learning, one that not everyone likes, but necessary nonetheless. Homework will vary depending on the student's needs, availability and their goals regarding the language. In some cases, I will direct you to web pages where you will find a series of exercises, in others I will send you a document that you must submit resolved, and I will always recommend watching movies or series in the original version!
