About Brandon
I am a recent biochemistry graduate who has been tutoring calculus and other college math courses for two years now. I taught numerous students on a walk-in basis, assisting them with a variety of questions and topics, giving conceptual explanations and helping with specific challenges.

I am mostly experienced with assisting college students, however I am able to help with other levels as well. I approach teaching with an emphasis on encouraging student independence and critical thinking, as well as tailoring to the needs of the individual student. I find that, in math, many students struggle primarily with not knowing where to start, or being afraid of messing up, and that invitation to attempt and process things independently goes an incredibly long way in opening up a topic and finding mastery.
