About Abigail
I have always had a passion for working with others and involving myself in STEM related work. Through taking courses such as AP Calculus AB and AP Chemistry in high school and continuing my math and science classes as a first year student at UC of Santa Cruz, I aspire to make sure everyone is on the same page. I have definitely been in a place where I felt behind, or wished I had someone else to explain it to me from another perspective, so I want to help those who have felt similarly. I am currently a Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major who graduated high school in 2026. Additionally, I worked with elementary students for 2 years and have a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to communicate and work with others as a mentor.

I believe it is all about creating a good base for knowledge, understanding the basics and building up from there. My methods and techniques start with having core concepts down and memorized, and then slowly introducing and building from there. I am capable in tutoring pre-calculus and general chemistry at any grade level, there is no wrong time to start learning! As a tutor, I want to ensure you feel confident about the work completed and I can work with visual learners or auditory learners, finding what works best.
