About Amanda

Throughout my time in high school I tutored students grades 5-12 in mathematics, biology, chemistry, and other STEM subjects. In doing so, I learned how to connect with other students and provide a learning experience that shows them I understand where they are, and they are not alone as STEM courses can be incredibly challenging. I have taken higher level statistics, calculus, biology, chemistry, and an assortment of other classes and have struggled myself so I hope to share my experience and knowledge to help others.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I intend to get to know the student and find out what methods work best for them, whether that be through creating lesson plans to reteach concepts or actively applying the concepts to build confidence and give the student the best learning experience.
