About Rebecca
As a student myself, always thoroughly enjoyed math and science because there is always a correct answer, you just have to solve the puzzle to figure it out!
Hence why I went into Biology for my undergrad. Graduated with Honors and would do it all over again.
My experience has made me really adept at figuring out where the disconnect or confusion is stemming from, rectifying that and growing from there. Celebrating little wins along the way to keep the student motivated and engaged. Really love spreading the joy the learning and letting young people know that they have everything they need to be successful

I really believe that practice is the best way to teach. I tend to do an initial assessment to see where the student is currently.
From there we work through the course material methodically with plenty of practice questions to initially go through together, then as they gain confidence, tackling on their own with progressively harder problems.
Really I want to walk them through knowledge -> building skill set -> grow confidence with the subject matter.
