I LOVE teaching!!! I was a volunteer tutor in high school for roughly two years and my experience opened my eyes to the "teacher" & "mentor" potential in me. I am able to effectively tailor my tutoring sessions towards the academic needs of my tutee. I do this first off by asking them if they need help with anything, before treating more advanced topics. Whatever concept or material it is that my tutee does not understand, I'll sit with him or her and make sure I explain it thoroughly and explicitly adopting various suitable examples to make sure they are able to fully grasp the concept and connect the dots. I tutor only middle school and high school students, and the subjects I tutor are Mathematics (Algebra to Calculus I), Chemistry (Middle and High school Chemistry), and Biology.
