About Sophie
My lessons dive deep into the fascinating world of the brain, exploring its incredible structure and function. We focus on neuroscience through careful analysis and well-organized case studies. Together, we study sensory systems and examine common neurological disorders to understand how the nervous system works. Each session unravels the complexities of this amazing organ and its influence on our daily experiences. I guide students to build a strong, clear understanding of how the brain controls thought, movement, and sensation. By breaking down challenging concepts into manageable parts, I help learners gain confidence and mastery. We explore real-life examples that show the brain’s power and adaptability. My approach encourages curiosity and critical thinking while keeping the material accessible. My aim is to support students in reaching their highest potential in neuroscience. Together, we unlock the secrets of the nervous system, making learning both exciting and rewarding. You will come away amazed by the human brain’s complexity and strength.

With over 9 years of tutoring experience and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience, I bring a deep understanding of biology to every lesson. I specialize in marine conservation biology and ecosystem management, guiding students through the complex challenges facing our oceans. Together, we explore critical topics such as threats to marine biodiversity, ocean acidification, and the impacts of pollution. I help students grasp not only the science but also the urgent need for effective conservation strategies.
My approach is tailored to support learners at all levels, from high school to university. I particularly enjoy working with students passionate about environmental protection and those aiming for careers in marine science. We dive into real-world case studies, fostering both knowledge and critical thinking skills.
My goal is to empower them to become informed advocates for our oceans. Biology is not just a subject — it’s a powerful tool to safeguard our planet’s precious marine ecosystems. Together, we make learning meaningful and inspiring.
