About Rupashri

I am Rupa, an undergraduate of Bachelor's of Science in Biotechnology, Chemistry and Zoology from Bangalore.
I also have research experience as a long term intern at the University of Hyderabad, at a lab which studied mechanisms underlying neurodegenerative diseases.
I am now set to travel to the UK and obtain a Master's degree in Biomedical Research.
As a graduate student, I have the time to dedicate to teaching students biology from the knowledge I have gathered in the last few years of keen study of the subject. Teaching has always come natural to me, and I am also very good with children and can navigate communication with them based on their needs. I also have volunteering experience as a teacher in my local school.

This leads me to believe that I can make a commendable part time tutor to children who need the extra help with biology, outside of their school classes.

About the lesson

For students all through school to undergraduate degrees in biology.
Classes will focus on learning through illustrations, rather than long descriptions. I also have experience with illustrative design, and can custom draw diagrams during class to better elucidate the subject.
I will also pay attention to the ablility of applying knowledge from the classes into their school tests and exams, through personally curated, consistent exercises for memory and reasoning ability at the end of every class.
Curious questions are welcome always, and the student will be encouraged to question and discuss.
I am an easy going and enthusiastic teacher, and can make extra tutoring fun, not dull.
As a result of my experience, I can introduce relevant avenues of the subject like genetic engineering and biotechnology to the student, according to their level of study.

Payments can be made in advance as the client chooses - in a weekly or monthly basis. Class scheduling can be discussed on hire and can be customised to flexible timings as per convenience of client, and my availability.
