About Siena
I have worked at Mathnasium tutoring students aged K-12 on subjects ranging from foundational mathematics to calculus. I tutored high school aged students on a volunteer basis with precalculus and calculus and as a teaching assistant I helped cell biology and biomedical engineering lab students improve understanding of class concepts. I have a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia and I am starting a Master’s program at Stanford University in the fall.

I have extensive experience tutoring math students and in college I served as a Teaching Assistant for cell and molecular biology and an integrated design lab. Through these experiences I have helped students with homework, class projects, studying for quizzes and exams, and understanding core concepts. I also just graduated college so I am familiar with current curriculums. I am well equipped to help students improve homework, exam, and project grades and increase their understanding of challenging concepts.
