About Maria

I am a Biomedical graduate with a first-class degree and a major in Neuroscience. I am currently a third-year Medical student at Barts.

I am a highly motivated tutor and I focus on cooperating with my tutees in order to achieve their goals relative to the subject of study!

I am here to spark your interest and facilitate the understanding of the subject of your choice: biology, physiology, pathophysiology, anatomy or other biology-related subjects.

I am happy to prepare you for a medical interview at a UK university (MMI or panel) as I received offers from every university I interviewed with.

I am also here for you if you would like to learn the Russian language, whether you are a complete beginner or just wish to practice your speaking skills.

About the lesson

I always create individual lesson plans and teaching material for different abilities. I prioritise individual approaches to my students, ensuring their primary goals are reached. I focus on engagement with the subjects by creating various activities, encouraging interest, and fostering proactivity. It is also always important to link learnt material to practical application.

The typical length of a lesson is 1 hour, but it is negotiable.

Education includes:
1. BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences with major in Neuroscience, St. George’s University of London
2. Medicine and Dentistry at Barts and the London School of Medicine and Dentistry

4 years of tutoring experience, face to face and online.

Who are the lessons for?
Biology, physiology, anatomy and other biology-related sciences: GCSE, A-levels and undergraduate levels (any age)
The Russian language: any level and age
Medical interview preparations for UK universities: both MMI and panel interviews (any age)

Maria is very dedicated and reliable as a teacher, her lessons are always excellently prepared. I used to receive lessons on physiology from her in my first year of uni, which have made a remarkable difference: she helped piece together topics and explained them in a comprehendible way.
As a person, Maria is kind and patient, and very easy to communicate with. I would absolutely recommend!
