About Asfia
I am Biotechnology and Microbiology graduate from the University of York. I love teaching students as I can relate to them and pursue a career in teaching. I deliver the lessons in a way that I expect my teachers to deliver the lessons to me. Being both a teacher and a student at the same time I can understand what students expect from a teacher and what teachers expect from students and create an environment which is fruitful for all.

I help students in Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and encourage them to find their true passion. I make the lessons interactive by using mentimeter quizzes and kahoot (when there are more than 2 students) and critically analyse to reach the depth of the topic, so that they can understand the key message and don't have to memorise. I give lessons in a way I expect my teachers to give the lessons to me. I always make sure if the student have any special needs and open to feedback to make the lessons as rewarding as possible.
